Ritual Alignments is an exercise on speculative archeology powered by AI. Using the past—what’s been re-collected—and, through a machine, speculating in the present and for the near future.
Just as the invention of the mechanical printing press helped disseminate knowledge wider and faster than ever before, the wider use of popularised AI generators opens a new door towards a rampant production of images. The work reflects on the paradox of how abundance of information often does not equal a clearer, truer image.
